| My name is Noe Valladolid. These are some of my ideas for a Street Fighter console game. I am familiar with the runnings of the industry and know that these ideas may be taken by CAPCOM without compensation. That is fine considering I would rather see an entirely new Street Fighter produced with my ideas than to have to sit through another "versus" title. I am determined to land a job in the videogame industry. I know many people working as game designers with little or no experience. Most were hired by friends and acquaintances in the industry. When I ask about employment they always tell me the same thing, "Don't get in the way I did, go to school and learn a job skill instead." I have a positive mindset and these statements do not discourage me.
I am passionate about videogames. When I am not at work I spend time trying to figure out ways to make better games. I have some appropriate training and skills for the game industry already. I play games to dissect and learn, not solely for entertainment purposes. I have provided feedback directly to developers on many games and genres for almost a decade. Most recently I was an invited speaker at the Gamehotel as part of the 2004 Game Developers Conference.
Things you should note when reading the following pages:
- These are my ideas. And no, I do not think they are any better than any other budding game designers.
- The budget for this project is assumed to be that of an average fighting game.
- The pages are ordered with both the novice and die-hard Street Fighter fan and programmer in mind.
- This is not my design for Street Fighter IV, but rather the first dedicated console adventure.
- This game is designed to tie in all of the games in the Street Fighter universe, including but not limited to: SF EX, Muscle Bomber, Final Fight and Rival Schools.
- The respective copyright holders are listed on the legal info page.
- In no way is this site an attempt to controvert any established copyright.
- These pages are for informational, entertainment and critical review purposes only.
- This is a nonprofit website.
- There has never and most likely will never be a person hired by the industry based on an idea or webpage. (I'm not holding my breath.)
- Management usually dictates which game will be produced, rarely is it the desinger.
- Please do not link to any images or take any images. My bandwidth will not support it.
- The Mad Gear War ("the War" for short) is just one of many-many ideas. I am choosing the Street Fighter (SF) franchise to apply my logic to so I would not give up an original idea.
The reader should understand that one of the premises of this game is to properly orient international gamers to the Street Fighter universe. Inconsistencies and typos that have plagued versions of Japanese and English versions of the game have been standardized. I wanted to create an International version of the SF series which is why I refer and ask that all of the studios involved, refer to the project with the following changes: Shadaloo (US version) has been corrected to Shadowlaw (Japanese version). Other popular names such as Gouki (Akuma in the US), Vega (M. Bison in the US), Balrog (Vega in the US) and M. Bison (Balrog in the US) have been changed to their proper Japanese names. This game can be developed and released in three separate language sets at the same time. A Japanese language set, a US version with their names changed to the US standard, and an International version which is in English with the character names in the original Japanese.
