| The Nominees The nominees on the following pages are my suggestion for being the first set of characters released in the War. I have selected the characters so that there is a balance between lawful and evil characters. This list is open to discussion and debate with the development team as the numbers may have to be greatly scaled back. So if you are wondering where Sagat is, or are a fan of Tiffany or any other number of SF characters rest assured, in due time they will be added to the series. There are two main reasons for omitting characters, the time and cost factor is the biggest reason but the missing characters also allows the War to develop a plot over several games. This opposes conventional fighting game design where the same plot and fighters are used time and time again. These details will be appreciated by fans and non-fans alike as the War develops into much more than a fighting game but a whole new genre as well. |
